Circular tour of hour and a half, with guide. Boarding at the marina by the dam wall.
The navigation begins with the approach to the Alqueva dam, with a first explanatory stop next to the safety buoys.
It continues to the summit of the reservoir, along the main axis of the Guadiana, towards the mouth of the River Degebe and Ribª das Bicas, here will be given explanations about the surrounding territory and river dynamics. After this short stop, take the boat, between islands and corners, to Ribª de Codese to the Cashanos ravine, passing through the Herdade da Tapada.
Throughout the tour, the explanations about the reservoir, the banks, the occupation of the territory, the nooks, the fauna, the flora and other curiosities are a constant, in a crew / passengers interaction.
On hot days, there is the possibility of a small stop of the boat for refreshing bath in the Alqueva waters.
