Hotel de Moura, founded in 1900 is located in the center of the city of Moura. The hotel occupies a building of significant historical, architectural and artistic value. Former convent of the Hospitaller Order of São João de Deus, was founded in the seventeenth century. It is a vaulted building with a facade covered with tiles, stonework in the first floor, mass frames in the others, and balustrade with statues and ceramic vases. The patio and the staircase are prominent features.
Rooms at Hotel de Moura are decorated with wooden floors and antique furniture against whitewashed walls. All rooms are quite comfortable and well equipped, mostly large, with full bathroom and hair dryer, ambient music, direct telephone, satellite TV and air conditioning.
Hotel de Moura has a bar, cafeteria and cable TV, a Nobre saloon, a living room with a typical Alentejo fireplace for reading and games (chess, checkers, trivial).
